Listening, connecting, and supporting business

Gloucestershire has some of the most creative, innovative and successful businesses in the country. Companies such as Super Group, Creed Catering, Soho Coffee and Energist UK, are national beacons inspiring the country to grow during the most challenging economic conditions we’ve encountered over the last 50 years.

I’ve been fortunate to work with many of our local businesses over the last few years.  I’ve drawn inspiration from their energy, talent, and ambitions.  I’ve noticed in many the desire to make a difference, to grow, and to shape the economy - locally, nationally, and globally. 

From our conversations, I’ve learnt how we can start to build a new chamber.  An active chamber that connects, listens, and supports the needs of our entrepreneurs.  A chamber that works in partnership with business, the public sector and government to grow our local economy -  “Gloucestershire PLC”.

2011 heralds the start of this new chamber for Gloucestershire.  Our purpose is to be a strategic forum for businesses, allowing you to be connected to the local business community to collaborate and profit from sharing knowledge, goods and services.  We listen to your views on local issues that impact business development and make it heard by Government.  Through our range of professional advice and relevant services, we support local businesses with their growth ambitions.

Collectively, we will create a powerful community that will harness Gloucestershire’s entrepreneurial strength.
